Picking one up tomorrow and was curious where everyone mounted theirs. Would like to have it under the hood since I know what it feels like to press your leg up against it after a long drive lol.

 

 

damn carb guys lol. shit is tight with in the stock engine bay. is it safe to mount it under the passenger seat?

 

Should be safe under passenger seat, but I'd think heat soak may be an issue. I've seen them mounted up against the center console on the passenger seat. I've seen them mounted in the glove box. You should be able to put it in the engine bay still with an EFI that's pretty much stock... Lemme look up a few things

 

Away from heat and vibration. I think that rules out the engine bay Some cant resist the bling tho.

Interesting location. Only downside to mounting it off the center console is i do have a passenger a good bit of the time. Last thing I want is my girl to burn her leg and not let me get anymore parts lol. I sneaked a set of tires in with out her knowing lol.

 

I had mine under the drivers seat. I liked it there, very clean look and you never had worry about the elements getting to it

i made a bracket for mine to mount underneath the airfilter, and added some insulating rubber mounts to the plate. worked great for me.
