Fuel System: Filters "Micron" Level
What's the importance of the "Micron" level of the fuel (and oil for that matter) filters? TFS-23000 (40 micron) Fuel Filters are like $45 cheaper than TFS-23004 (100 micron). But then the 10 micron ones are only $10 cheaper than the 100 microns (and still $35 more expensive than the 40 microns)...

The lower the number the finer the particle the filter will trap..... also the flow rate is usually higher on the ones with higher numbers.....
First thing you need to decide is what fuel pump you are going to run, then you can better pick the filters for your application.....
Here's an example: If you use a Aeromotive A1000 pump, they recommend a 100 micron on the inlet side and a 10 micron on the output before the regulator.....
If you are going to use standard old Holley Blue or Black, I have always had great luck the the fram HPG-1 canister before the pump and no other filter in the system.....
Hope this helped
Well I'm sure it helped Josh but I also know it helped me, I have that setup and was thinking of adding another filter after the pump.
Thanks Frank
Thanks Frank

Thanks Frank. I've actually got the two pumps already. Both are ProComp, one is the "Large Pump" for the motor, and the other pump is for the spray.
Large Pump: PC2802
Small Pump: PC2801
Any suggestions? I really like the sleekness of the Trickflow Filters, they're small, black, and look like they'd be easy to tuck outta the way instead of a large canister filter
