Problem installing air/fuel meter

ok i bought a auto meter air fuel meter today to replace my old one that tragically met its demise. I have to hook it up to my signal wire off my o2 sensor. theres four wires there. any of you know which one it might be? its on a 92 ranger.

its the one with the brown stripe. but you have to let the engine get up to operating temperature for it to read...Or at least thats what Murph says.

thanks guys i had to go back to automotive engineering to get another one first one was screwed. i got it hooked up but it does just like it says it jumps from lean to rich except when i am gunning it. is that right?

its gives an accurate read-out but mentioned somewhere before when the car first starts up the ecu will run in a safe mode until the car heats up some then it will begin reading in the proper order.

if i am hitting the gas it reads in the middle of rich. ive let it get warm for ever and i still dont get a normal reading.
