yeah a 4cyl will work... you can also use a 99+tranny and even the ranger t5 also the camareo tranny will work but you have to swap the tail shaft...

96+ do not work, neither will the camaro. You can use the v6 mustang trannys though

I know a 4cyl t5 will work in a fox, becuase I've used them before.. But on an sn95, slong as I swap the bellhousing can I bolt a 4cyl t5 up with no other changes?

will work fine, it's 3/8 inch shorter, i've done it, you have plenty of extra length on driveshaft to account for it unless your car has been lengthened!!! LOL
4 cyl will work fine also, weaker, lower first gear, have to change the pilot bearing use a ranger diesel 4 cylinder bearing, works fine, pilot bearing can be a bitch to change.
