10W30 supposedly better for startup.GTX 20w50 is a good oil I'm sure but current thinking says to go with thinner oil for startup protection.I must say i have run it for years myself. The only thing I question about GTX 20W50 is the caramel coating it left on the inside of my 22R Toy engine. Then again, that motor had 260,000 on it and looked very good inside.Moly additive is supposed to actually bind to the metal and is a friction modifier.Dont think GTX has this additive, but I believe it has zinc.Schaeffer oil is supposedly some great oil but like Amsoil, not sold locally that I know of.Lot of guys running the Diesel oils as they have some great additive packages.
