Default Electrical Wiring?!

Here's a photo that caught my eye:

On the passenger side of the fire wall this guys got some little section of wiring that is all nicely tucked up there and wired individually to each of his electronics...

What all is that you think? Is that something custom, or is this a standard thing in "builds"?

I just never have seen something like that for your wires. But looks a lot nicer/cleaner than using wires all over the engine bay and shit...

Comments/ideas/suggestions?!?!?!

I had the same thing about 20 years ago. I forgot who made it but maybe it was Mr Gasket?

It's very similar to a fuse block. It looks like it is all his wiring for the NOS system.

What would this be used for in most cases? Full custom engine wiring/grounding? Or generally for stuff like MSD, nitrous, fuel gauges, etc?

Mmm, organization... I love it

Who's got experience with a "Painless" Wiring kit? Are they really "painless?" Or are they a freaking nightmare?

I'm not sure any of the wiring in my car is worth the copper it's spun with Wouldn't mind making sure ALL is well and securing it with a new wiring kit... Just don't know SHIT about wiring/electronics, lol.

Theyre stuff is really nice Josh.. If you remember the mustang that had a GN motor in it, he put a Painless harness in that car to run motor / computer. It was super nice, every wire was labeled and all weather pack connectors and was plug and play

Hmmmm, I'd like to learn a bit more about them... Wonder what they cost and what all you need to do to convert the car over to make it work lights, horn, blinkers, etc, etc...
