my mustang is making a bad wining sound and i have to clue what it is and its not the power steering anybody know what it is

Is your car a stick? If so try playing with the clutch pedal with your foot. If the noise comes and goes, sounds like a throwout bearing.

When does this noise happen? When driving? When Stopping? When pushing in the lcutch pedal (like previously suggested?) Where does the noise sound like it's coming from?

no its an auto it does it all the time even when its idling but it get louder in the higher rpms its coming from the front by the belt i think it might be the water pump

pretty much check everything up front. There are alot of pulleys up there that could of takin a shit on ya.

Could be a bearing, could be the waterpump. Like 91 notch said check everything.
