Default New clutch cable, firewall adjuster and quadrant

I've installed all of these within 30-45 minutes in my driveway but can't quite get the pedal to feel normal yet.....

There is a lot of play in the pedal and after pushing it, it feels very tight. It works fine though on a test drive.... just not perfect.

On the firewall adjuster, is it more threads showing means a more pulled up pedal (no play)?

Forgive my ignorance... never had one of these, always did it from underneath the car.

I installed my fiore FW adjuster and quadrant but also installed a spec 3+ clutch. When I adjusted the firewall adjuster all the way out the clutch was engaging when the pedal was barely off the floor. So, I unhooked the cable and I put the rubber grommet back on between the adjuster and the cable and got it adjusted with the way I wanted it. The cable may have stretched slightly.
