Will a F-cam and a 1.7 rocker have PTV issues in later model 302?

I dont have any first hand experience on this but from what I've read,.. definitely no.

F cam even with 1.6 may have PTV issues with out notching the pistons.

I run an F with 1.6 (.512, 110*)

I also run a crower 534/545 lift/110* with 1.6 rockers also. Stock pistons.

But dont take someones word for it. Clay it.

always check, every motor can be different.
it's not just the lift, it's the valve events.
that being said, I've had an x without hitting! but some people have hit with an f.

What head? What size valve? And IMO I would just run an F-cam with 1.6's, I've had much better luck with that combination. Unless the motor is under cammed and he's looking for the cheap way out I'd leave the 1.6's on it.

I'm running a B cam in one car, and a Steeda 19 in the other, so I wouldn't know.
