I went down last year and unfortunatley I was not impressed. They had a lot of cars but very few of the very fast ones. Mainly because it is not a points race for any of the sanctioning bodies. The weather was good so they could not use that as a excuse. I just thought I would pass that along F.Y.I.. Now the big street car race in Orlando is coming up Oct. 12-14. I know it is not a all Ford race but there will be the baddest of the bad at that race. Let me know if any of you are interested in going to that one. I have 5 or 6 people going already.

 

dont think my car will be running by then so i am out. if i could ride out with someone i would go. but by the 20th i will be ready to run. wanted to go to ford power fest. to check out what people are running also get some input on my ride. the show is realy nice and steeda is having a cruise.

 

I am a friggin race junky believe me. But I will have to pass on this one. Last years race down there just did not impress me and the drive was so damn boring / long. Make sure to keep me in mind for any other future events. I am going to the World Street Car Finals in Orlando next weekend if anyone wants to go with us.

 

Sounds good (World Street Car Finals). My advice is that we all meet up early (6-6:30) so we can get there before the traffic starts to build up getting into the track. I know this is early for some of you but I do not know if any of you have been to this track for a big race the traffic scenerio is a pain in the a** if you do not get there early. Let me know who wants to go and I will set something up. I posted this in the Free-4-All area and the import guys did not sound to interested but anyone is invited.
