nos on a 2.5 v6
Dude, if you blow the motor, it aint like we didn't tell you to have a pro install the NOS for you. It is NOT something you want to do if you've never done it before. ESPECIALLY without any kind of instructions from a kit or anything. And with the only research into it being what you've found here on TR....Man....Thats a recipie(sp) for disaster.
Make sure you run 93 octane gas and put in new plugs before you run it. Change the oil too. If you run without a WOT switch, your asking for trouble unless you have experience doing it. Further, if you aren't sure where to put the nozzle or how to put it in, you will have problems. Soome of the redneck shit I've seen just blows my mind. Duct taped fittings....Man...When I asked about it, they told me that someone told em to make sure to "tape all the fittings". WTF???
Bottom line, Nitrous isn't something to be taken lightly. Why do you think most guys are going to superchargers now? It's because too many of them have had their engines blow up with nitrous. NOS is safe if you know how to use it safe and know how to hook it up. If you don't then I ALWAYS suggest people to have someone else hook it up who HAS experience doing it. Call up Dave at Genium Performance. He'll do it for you pretty inexpensivly. He's over in Largo/Clearwater by the track.

a little known nitrous secret is that you can take the little silver thingie out of the line and it will run harder. It is called a pill and has numbers on it. If you take it out it will ride out.
