Default 4r70w problem!

hey guys i got one for you!! i got a 00' gt and i just rebuilt the 4r70w in it and after i got everything slapped back together, i fired her up and the
" O/D " light was flashing on and off...i plugged the scanner up to it and got 4 codes they were .... shift solenoid, trq convert solenoid, and electronic pres. control solenoid codes! now iam quite sure all those solenoids are fine and its quite odd for all to go bad at once after i rebuild the tranny...now iam new to the 4r70w's iam an aod kinda guy but i made some calls and was told its my hard wired board(which connects all the solenoids) and i do rember having some problems when i was putting that board back in the tranny! so i ordered a new 1 and it just came in so iam gonna slap it in and hope it fixes the problem! but i was just wondering if anybody has had that problem or has heard of that problem with the "O/D" light flashing...and why the light was flashing?

the light was flashing because its telling the driver there is a prob in the trans, thats why you pulled those codes there is a selonide pack i believe inside the trans proubly that circuit board you ordered the a selonide pack will control all of those functions that you got codes for. also you might wanna call ford and ask them if you rebuild the trans do you have to perform a "quick learn" on the transmission i know when i had my trans rebuilt 4r100 i didnt but it might be different for yours hope this has helped you.

The solenoids have a common +12v source, and are switched on ground by the PCM. If all of them are throwing codes, I would bet that the common +12v supply is the problem. I believe that same +12v supplies the rear o2 heaters. If there is a short, or if the fuse blows, this will happen. Are you sure you didn't pinch the wire harness between the motor and trans? I have seen that on more than one occasion.

Hope this helps

thx..for all the replys guys....the first thing i did was check all the plugs and re-plugged them in just to make sure and then i checked the wiring harness and it is not pinched... so thats when i pulled the codes...and kinda put together it had to be coming from inside the tranny...also i figured if iam getting codes for all the solenoids that the hard wired circut board connects together there must be a problem within that board someplace...if this damn rain would stop i would beable to slap the board in and let you guys know if that did the trick..lol

unplug the transmission harness (from the top in the engine compartment) and rescan for codes. see if you get JUST those same codes.

hey guys heres the codes i pulled...
P0743 Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Electrical
P0750 Shift Solenoid “A”
P0755 Shift Solenoid B Malfunction
P1747 Pressure Control Solenoid "A" Short Circuit

when it stop raining iam gonna check the ohms..on the tcc make sure iam getting the proper ohms

also iam gonna double check the wiring harness make sure its not piched even though if it was i would think i would have o2 codes as well.

and then iam gonna slap in that board and see what that does for me!
and iam waiting on a call back from the ford master tech to see if i need to flash the pcm!

iam also looking into just replacing the shift solenoid and the tcc just for the hell of it the pair will only cost me around 40 bux....

but if you guys notice anything about those codes that i should try out please let me know!!!!

thx
anthony!

with that many codes you porbably have a bad connection on your case conector not the plug itself but where the case conector comes out of the plastic conector to the valve body. do I make sense. those connectors are very comon to spread just enough to fail or u did not assemble them correctly
