otay, im lookin to get the lt1 in the t/a an overhaul, unfortunatly the only ppl i trust on tr r u ferd boys. i want a complete overhaul. i will supply all the neccasary parts, but right now im lookin for sum prices from u guys that r shop owners on here. info on the car...

87 trans am, 94 z28 engine, 700r4. the engine has a lil over 160xxx miles and i think the either the valve guide seals r bad, or the rings. i want a top to bottom job, includin r&r. so throw me sum prices. lookin to get it done within the month.

sounds like a fun project.are you going to leave it fuel injected????or carbing it (mild cam little head work carb easy 4 to 450 horse)call me need more info

Yeah, you're gonna need 4-450 to make that thing move. Heavy beasts. I'm gonna keep giving you shit....you seem to handle it well. Of course, my SN95 aint no skinny thing either. LOL But my 67...she went on a diet.

Considering the amount of money put into the 67, I would say it's pretty good. I had about $5000 in it (including the purchase price of the car) and it ran 10.6xx's @ 127mph in the 1/4. But yeah, the Cobra...weaksauce LOL

Dude...That was 4 years ago. No-one keeps em that long. The cars down right now anyway....New motor time. Going smaller and less pwr.
