Default So how the hell do I fix this?

Driving for the first time in a few days I had to get on it to avoid an idiot pulling out in front of me. I hear a snap. I'm like great wtf now. I notice the seat suddenly likes to rock back bad. Nice gangster lean. Get to my girlfriends and look down. The drivers side front bolt is now not even holding it in place. I pulled the seat out to find this. The bolt had been ripped out before and half assed welded in:

Now can I have someone weld it up or put in a new piece of metal to last longer?

Very common problem in the foxbody cars. See "OldMan's" thread in the Projects - he just had the same problem.

Chad @ Racing Innovations can fix this w/o fail. He did MiDiablo's car up w/all the welding and fabrication

No, seriously, it could be way worse bro. That's a $25 fix give or take. And it'll be as good as new, and you'll never have a problem with it again bro. Don't be discouraged. Conquer each hurdle you're faced with, and you'll love and cherish the car more!
