Does anyone in here have a new Bullitt Mustang? I just got one last week and was seing if anyone in here has one and if they have done any mods to it. Anyway I love the car it handles great and the performace is pretty good for stock.

no i dont but i would like one though! the only mods that i have heard done to some is just a 70 mm throttle body exhaust intake with a k&n or any other filter that fits. and a shit load of suspension parts. but there should be a load of parts coming out soon from saleen steeda and ford as well. at least i would assume they would.

The Bullitt Mustang has the SVO intake and heads correct? From some of the pre-production pictures it looked to be that way.

correct on the SVO intake and heads. The throttle body would seem pointless to me because it has a twin blade 56mm TB on there already. Also the suspension is real strong for stock. The only thing I wish it was the DOHC 4V but it is a lot stronger then a stock GT.

i read that the bullit mustangs werent that much faster than the gts--- dont get me wrong i like them and would love to have one but some magazines tested it and said it is only about a tenth faster than a stock gt. -- i think stock these motors arent the rage but i think when peopl do simple mods to them they will show their true potential.

the power is more then the stock GT the problem was is that ford was trying to say that it had 275hp when in reality it is more like 265hp but the engine breaths 100 times better then the GT I was looking to s/c it but no one is making a system for it as far as I have seen. Right now I just droped in a K&N filter and ordered Tri-Axe shifter and most likely gears with in the month.

i have a new gt and i raced a bullit and wonbut i have been racing for years i think he wasnt a experienced driver. you said they dont make a s/c for it? why cant you just throw a vortech on itsame engine right? is the belt pattern different?
