if u pull ur spout connector and set ur timing to like 19 degrees and run the car without putting the spout connector back in will it hurt the motor because without the spout connector the engine will keep 19 degrees of timing it will no longer be computer contolled

 

It wont hurt it it just wont advance. Why are you running 19 degrees BTDC? No more than 14 is usually good enough. Also remember that with nitrous use you will want to retard the timing 2 degrees per every 50 hp added. Hope this helps.

 

ive advanced it to 19 and the car runs hard as hell so i figured i pull the spout connector and run that 19 with any advancing car would run harder

 

Nah dont do it. Your timing wont advance at all. I think you want more than 19 degrees across the board there man.
