2001 Ford excursion for Ford F250 engine swap
I'm looking to swap out my blown out motor for my 01' ford excursion to a ford f250 v-8. An uto salvage shop says they have a V-10 but i can't seem to find any on the web which is kind of crazy since it is the world wide web but any tips for the frankenstein creation to work?

i worked on a v10 f250 at jarrett scott ford. They have them, and i dont know about the swap, but with enough money theres no reason it wouldnt work...and its not a frankenstein deal, its just a motor swap...

have you tried Car-Part.com--Used Auto Parts Market ??? they have several 5.4l V-8's listed from the F250 Super-Duty

diesel would be the way to go. if your swapping engines anyways why not have a engine that you can actually get some decent power and better gas mileage than a gas engine?
