Arrow Need advise

Putting cam's notch together soon, need advise brothers and sisters.

5.0 roller block, 5 speed with 3.55's with these items below:
  • E303 BUMP STICK
  • 1.7 ROCKERS
  • COBRA EFI INTAKE
  • SHORTY HEADERS
  • CAI AT FENDERWELL
What MAF, what size injectors and... what heads will work well ($$$ bargain-shopping) with this DD?

Thanks in advance ... got something LMK soon, please.

I am asuming its stayin on the motor?

If so a 24 lb injector setup is the way to go.

And I might actually have a set for sale in the near future...dont quote me on that though. I have been running numbers through my head for a couple days and might jump to a bigger injector.

I will let you know if I do that. But if a set comes along go a head and take it. It takes me for ever to make up my mind lol.

Yep, he's my wilder son (too much like me decades ago) and this DD needs to be reliable and perform well.

What about heads?

Well you can never go wrong with Trickflow's or AFR's but that kind takes you out of the budget category.

World Products iron heads are a fairly decent head for the money and not too bad priced. Or if you really, really wanna go budget a set of worked over e7's isnt all that bad of a choice....but I would use that as a last resort option.

Of course going budget just keep a look out for used heads.....they are out there.

Good luck!

On a buget, you cant go wrong with a set of gt-40's. I just tagged my vert last week and It really surprised me the way this thing runs. My set up is exactly what you listed but w/ F cam and carb. It is very tracking limited from a roll 1st and 2nd gear.

Just don't buy anything that is a "knock-off" head - whatsoeva! I'd say you probably couldn't go wrong with a set of GT-40's

/\ mainly they work so well for the cost effectiveness - especially for what that car will see as far as daily driving and all. Less likely to have issues with reliability and drivability with a set of GT-40's.
