what manual transmissions will bolt up to a twin cam 4.6 and what cars can i pull them from fairly cheaply?

T45 and 3650 will be the cheapest route. Can find used ones for around $300 - $500 in good condition.

There are 2 different tail shafts used on the T45. The Cobra had the mount at the end of the shaft. The GT version has the mount closer to the case. I have both in my shed.

T56 and TKO tranny's are also doable. But pricey.
