For the money,.. a Centerforce DF clutch is right in line with a 500hp power level. A good stock pedal feel. Little to no chatter. I have been running the DF clutches in my GT and Cobra for almost 5 years now.

If you want a step above. The Centerforce DFX clutch is stronger. Has some chatter. But excellent at the track. The DF is excellent at the track. But for daily street use I would do a DF over the DFX at the 500hp level. The DF is rated 600 - 700hp. GT (10.5" clutch) usually runs $325 with T/O bearing. A Cobra (11" clutch) usually runs $425.

They recommend a 500 mi break in period for both. But I never have. I do a hole shot in the street in front of the shop and call that my break in.

True Story/\/\ I run a Centerforce DF with no problems at all. I run a little over 400 RWHP and launch at 4000 rpm on slicks.
