Default hydraulic clutch conversion?

im getting tired of cables snaping on me and streching on me. so i was wondering if there was some ford application i could use to do a cable to hydraulic clutch conversion. i was thinking like something out of a newer ranger or something?

No offense. But stop buying cheap asian aftermarket cables. Cough up the extra $$ and buy a Ford cable. I went through the same crap. My stock cable wasnt broke,.. but had a couple pieces coming lose. So I went to discount auto and got the cheapest one they had. 5 days it lasted me. Pop,.. right when I was getting onto I75. I got another one. That one lasted me 2 mos and same thing,.. pop. I finally gave in and went to the dealer and got the right cable. 4 years ago and no problems.

A hydraulic clutch is a PITA. Ask any LS1 owner who goes through alot of clutches. Getting the right pedal feel has become a work of art with those guys.

Hydraulics can be a pain. Everything is fine when it is all stock. Start throwing in a stiff pressure plate and the pedal goes all to hell and getting the pedal where you want it is about over.

+ one for the good cables!

i wasnt really talking about that little cable. i just figured that if i was gonna end up paying about $125 or so on an adjustable cable, for a little bit more i could upgrade.

Maybe because it's sitting in a junkyard and the cable will be a hammer or a steel girder in China next month if someone doesn't strip it?
