towing question
I'll shit to that!only take out the drive shaft if you dolly it. and then just disconnect it from the rear end and strap it up. that way you dont have to plug the transmission and store the shaft.

If you pull the car on its drive wheels (Not recommended) then disconnect the drive shaft. Even if its a manual trans,.. for that length and distance,.. its advisable to disconnect the drive line.
If pulled with the drive wheels off the road then just run the seat belt through the steering wheel. Doubt the falcon has a steering lock,.. but even on cars that do,.. dont trust the steering lock. A bump in the road can cause the lock to hickup and the wheels to turn. You can tug on the steering wheel and hit it at the top or bottom and the wheel will turn,.. use that as an example not to trust the wheel lock. If no seat belt available,.. use a small rope and tie the steering wheel to the brake pedal or something secure.
Most car dolly's you rent will have lights that extend outside of the sides of the vehicle. That should suffice for brakes and signal. Take some shoe polish and write on the glass "Vehicle in tow" in big letters.
