Would it be smart to change from AOD-E to a T-5 T-56 (6 speed i really want but is it worth it) and T-45.

I dunno any information on these trans so how much torque and hp can each handle?? You know the good stuff!

I forgot the tremec trans and the TKO and any other trans that is kickass!

As far as a good tranny that can take abuse is either the TKO or the tremec 3550. But they are also alot more than your average t-5/t-45. I myself still have my stock t45. Ya its gonna break eventually cause is labeled as a week tranny but Im not making much power.......yet Plus I love my first gear ratio(3.37) All the above trannys should bolt up directly to your motor. Hope this helps. Oh btw Ask HOSPWR about his tranny(tko) hell tell ya how he liked it. -Mark

Unless you REALLY want a stick I would just modify the AOD. It isnt quite as fast as a stick but its alot more consistent. my.02
