I know the amount will vary depending on the persons sickness involved, but how much is it to get into a Jr. Dragster? How much would it cost to build an average one and how much could a complete average Jr. Dragster cost? I haven't done any research yet, but I was thinking that my daughter would love to race one. She just turned 10 so I'm also not sure what the average Jr. Dragster kid is either.

Call NBS in Pinellas Park, its been a while but they use to have one sitting in the rafters I think.
Its just like any type of drag racing, you can have over 10 grand tied up in one easily. A couple of guys I use to know said you will spend around 5000.00 by time your all done. One guy who's son did very well in the circuit told me he had over 15000 in it to be competitive at a national level.

I'm going to see what this one ends up selling for. It runs 11s. and from what I read on the link Kailuaz posted the fastest one is allowed to run is 8.90 for kids over 10 yrs old. and 12.90 for kids under 10.

Man that sounds like super deal, but I hope I didn't come off like I wanted to go ahead and do this right now. I really appreciate the offer, but I don't have the funds to do it yet, I need to get my car up and running or close before hand or we'd never get either done. Also, like I mentioned, in the mean time this will give her some time to think it over and see if it's something she would really want to do and give her something to work for and a goal to set. My mom is was telling me how my daughter always talks about wanting to race my mom's golf car with her scooter and how competitive she is. (She's somewhat of a sore loser, and I'll need to work on that abit too )

I just don't want to look back and wish we'd have built something for her together if she wanted to.

I didn't even think about racing junk! Thanks man, I'll keep a look out there. I saw one in the search you posted that said 7.9 motor! I didn't have a chance to check it out, but that sounds freakishly fast! I'll have to go back and see if it was a typo or if I read it wrong.
