675 is too expensive. NO ONE is going to do a "complete rebuild" (gears, counter shaft, input, output shafts, bearings, syncros, shift forks, ect. that would cost 2k lol.

If your transmission is grinding on gear changes and still shifts and sounds normal, repairs should cost considerably less.

No I agree for a complete rebuild with all those parts listed would actually be more expensive. But if its a high millage tanny and he just wants to put it back together with stock parts so its drivable then yes 9 times out of 10 all a tranny needs is sychros to be back to workin conditions. Now don't get me wrong there are times when you have to spend money to put em back together.
but it sounds like this guy just want to put it back together stock. Put some synchros in it and let they guy go have fun again. Now if he wants to start putting some aftermarket parts in it well we all know how much that will cost.

Once again, we bought them as a joke for Forge cause he was pissed at us..... I think he wished cancer on us for doing that shit to him. The disturbing part is they make a transvestite blow up doll..

 

I can verify that all of those items are still in my garage. I saw them while cleaning it out 2 days ago. I found the patch kit for the tranny too, I guess it came with one.
