93 Mustang Cobra MAF ??

JWT requires a 93 Cobra MAF to go with my ECU reprogram. They want somewhere in the neighborhood of $250 for one.
Did Ford use this MAF on any other year Mustang etc?
Do any of the Ford guys/gals know where I can find one cheaper??

That is an oddball MAF meter. It is calibrated for 24 lb injectors but most of that is done at the ECU. I dont know why they would make you use that one instead of something like a Pro-M 77mm MAF that you could have custom done to any injector size for the same amount. Is there any literature I can read as to reinforce their reasoning?

Thats really strange. I have a 73mm c&l MAF meter calibrated for 24 lb injecors for a 89-93 Mustang that is for sale. It is bottlefeds actually. Is there any way you can ask them if that will work because his is cheaper larger and I trust it better than the funky 93 Cobra meter. I would do some research and try to pry out of them the reasoning for the Cobra specific meter. As a last resort I can call some places for you and scrounge one up.
