nail in my tire
Alright what should I do. I found that I got a nail in my tire. They are Nitto Drag Radials so would it be worth fixing it. The tires are pretty new so I will be realy pissed it I have to get new. Also I am not losing any air with the nail in there so should I leave it in? I want the best performance I know obviously the best performance would be to get a new tire but also I dont want to unless it is realy going to hurt me.
Also an word on what happend on Gandy sat. night. At the time we only had half a story. When I left they were just aresting that S&M guy for the DUI.

Damn I wish someone had a camera when they were giving that nut the roadside test. LOL
Just get a tire shop to patch your tire from the inside if you want it done right. Itll cost you about ten to fifteen bucks because theyll have to rebalance it. Ive plugged several of mine and as a matter of fact Ive got a nail in one of my Nittos right now. Ive been hesitating taking it out because it might leak and my plug kit is in storage across town.

Thanks I didnt know if I should get it pluged or get new. It is a releif to know that I can just plug it.

Ever thought about just having a shop patch it instead of a plug? I think it works better. I have a nice size nail in my Nitto too. Been in there for 2 months... hehe

Patching the tire is the best option but the tire must be removed and rebalanced. Plugs are nice to carry around for emergencies.
No spare? Just keep a plug kit and a can of fixaflat. As long as you dont have a blow out youre OK.
If it still had plenty of tread left I would go ahead and have it patched. that will last the life of the tire.
