The first thing I did was a set of gears. I do either 3.73s or 4.10s depending on what you plan on doing with the car. I got mine installed at Race Related for about 400$ (parts labor evrything.) That might even leave you w/ enough money to do underdrive pullies also. If it doesnt gut the airbox and put a k/n in it.

The E-303 cam is the mildest one of the motorsport lineup. It has around .480 lift and 224 duration @.50. Its a great street cam. Any decent heads would work well; edelbrocks twisted wedge canfield etc. I would suggest better valvetrain w/ the cam (springs lifters rockers) And also a good manifold; edelbrock cobra holley twisted wedge.

With 88k in the ticker and no rebuild I would not put a 150 shot on stock pistonsgaskets or any other piece that has been on the car since birth. First build the motor to take the nos. That way it will last a hell of alot longer. Plus I wouldnt be proud of a stock 5L with a 150 shot runnin 13s. Go the safe way. If u build it it will run Mark
