Default Vert owners......

What is the best thing that you have used to clean and bring back the color on your convertable top? Also, if nay of you have had the top replaced, how much did it cost you? The one we just got will need recovered. Just the vinyl, not the framework.

I never did it but got to 50resto(sp?).com And they have new tops for not cheap but not breakin ur bank either they also have carpet replacements too!

what color is it .mine is white .when i got it it was green/mildew all over the place .I wet the car down . let the garden hose run on top of the roof. poured some bleach on it and went to town with a scrub brush constantly rinsing the car .look s like new now

It's a black top. It's just faded a bit is all. It SEEMS to be in decent shape, but just faded.

I have a buddy that does tops and upolstery, he charged me $250 for top W/glass window and new padding and $250 to install

yeah, thats not a bad deal at all. I had my vert top redone in my Fox, and it was about 800.00 with the glass back window, and it was original FORD top.
