i have a 302 sitting in my garage that me and my cousin have been wanting to build for boost...good luck with it.. Try to keep it long enough to get it done haha
you have a pushrod motor.
I took a quick look at what you had there. there is no reason you shouldn't make 425+ with those mods and your AODE. the computer isn't that bad.
my old N/A explorer motor made 300/325 with a 95 computer setup.
You should stop by the shop.....
will do, i dont know where your shop is .
They're right on Hwy 19 in Hudson.
Another sn-95 owner here. I took my car there before the paint (everyone knows smooth paint adds like 15 hp.) LMAO! Riiight! Anyway, I have replaced the cam with a mild one from Steeda, and it has MAC headers, off road H-pipe, 2 1/2 exhause through flows, and 3:73 gears with the Cobra intake and open aircleaner by K&N.
I took my car into Bluemoon just for the dyno run. Those guys are GREAT! Shawn helped to fix my hood (thanks Shawn!) after the run because my hoods a POS fiberglass one. They treated my car with care, and I got a good baseline run.
Now, I have had the car painted (gotta get that extra HP where I can LMAO) and plan to replace the heads next weekend. Then, I'll most likely take it back up there again and see if the heads is where my major problem is. I suspect it is.
Baselining a car is the best way to see and feel the power. Then, once you get a baseline, do what works for eveyone else and you'll see and feel the power.
