yea, why do they think their cars are so fast??

 

Actually, their cars ARE fast....for what they are. I mean, they're 4 cyls adding up to 2 litres. Basicly a soda bottle, and they make their car which is about 2000 lbs, go down the 1/4 mile in like 14 seconds (for the REALLY fast ones, it's 13 seconds). That actually IS fast......for them.

 

I thought the car meet was every Thursday in the Sears/Belk/etc... parking lot. Or is there a separate Chik-fil-a one?

And yeah, if you go to Shell at night there are ricers lined up out front and in the Dunkin Donuts parking lot outback.

 

Are you talking about the first left off Anderson Snow RD? I was back there taking pictures once, cops go back to that area almost every 30mins now...especially at night. They added a new road that is closed off right now back there, longass stretch that would be perfect for racing.

 

Yeah the road dead ends into the airport basically, we've actually ran from the cops one night in a truck through the fields and ended up on sunshine expressway, long before it was even open. As for the cops, we used to go out there with a cop known as "Nitrous Joe" and he would bring his squad car and keep all the other cops away for us. He was known for pulling mustangs over just to tell them to pop their hood so he could know what you had and shoot the shit for a while. Dont know if anyone else knows him, maybe some of the older guys on here from the Hill will.

true... well i was looking at.. im too poor to afford one... but the mazdaspeed3, i havent heard anybody say anything bad about them, just wandering what some of the Ford people in here think... i mean im all Ford, but this car isnt that bad for an import..

very bad idea to go back there at night now, it's been far too exposed. every ricer who thinks their car is fast, or thinks they can "drift" has ruined what was once a nice place. it is illegal to just "drive" in Florida without a destination except on Sundays. the cops will bust your balls for being back there, because it leads to nothing except a water treatment plant i believe.

 

That used to be such an awesome place. Its so old though. I remember going back there and racing almost 10 years ago. Centralia was awesome too, but im sure its built up. Ayers road is still good
