supercharger question

in a mustang mag i have at the house it has a 2000 gt that they dropped a supercharger on and hit 11.0 sec 1/4 mile. the thing is that was the only mod on the car. would that be likely on a new gt. the other question is has anyone ever heard of the paxton twin supercharger w/bonnet for carb. it was the same mag but with little details.

It is possible depends on what trim blower what pulley etc.....

Also on the twin supercharger I know kenny bell made a twin whipple supercharger for the small block buicks and man was it bad ass!!!!

Seems kinda fast for a Supercharged GT. I was thinking hig 12s. I doubt it was all that was done.

well he could be running the vortech t trim with the aftercooler and some slicks i think high 11s is possible

Im with King on this there has to be more to it. 11.0 wiht nothing else...ehhh

Definitely more than just a blower. 12.0 seems more reasonable and that would be with a 3:73 gear and a set of slicks. To get an 11.0 you would need some serious suspension more boost and some weight reduction.

not possable with just a blower. the only way is if the blower is running 15+++psi. a blower w/ a boost upgrade and some light mods will get you there but i dont know about just a blower.

I will be there soon so I will let you guys know. Aftercooler and 8 rib pulley in the process of going on mine right now.

A couple of weeks ago I was talking to the guy that runs the Steeda race program and he said they cant run more than 12 psi in their car. I guess the modular engine cant handle it? He said that was the limiting factor for them. Right now they cant make enough HP to run with the big dogs. The car was really sweet and the guy was very cool. I cant remember his name.
