Default What do I have to do

Im trying to start to figure out what I am going to have to get to put this 302 in my 97.With the brakes, im guessing that I will have to switch over to a brake booster since I have the one that is off th PS pump. Also if I use the 302 PS pump will it work with my rack thats in the car now? I know I have to get a tranny and a K-memeber but im just starting to get a feel what else I will need. I already bought all the gaskets to do the motor and am going to get the rebuild kit shortly. Also will my AC lines work on a 302 comprssor? If you hav any other thoughts just let me know please, thanks

One question, just curious, why do you want to do this, is the car a v6?

I don't see a reason the 302 pump won't work other then fittings, I'm not fimiliar with the 94+ fittings.
However, The ac lines will not work seeing as the 302 AC compressor is on the driver side.

buy a 94/95. it is not worth the hassle to swap everything over, you can find rollers all over the net for sale for cheap.

But the difference is.. how many pushrod motors do you see in a 97 mustang? Go somewhere, and people assume mod motor, then you pop the hood and see a pushrod carb'd motor...I think its different. I think on the brakes, you can still keep the 97 brakes, I remember someone added the brake system from a 99 to the fox mustang, so it cant be too different. You would have to search Coral though.
