I am in need of a "inside" storage space for my beloved '85 GT. It's parked outside and is suffering greatly because of it. The last straw was when I was going to take it for a drive and now the damn clutch is seized so all I can do now is start it up every couple of days to keep her happy. What would really be cool is if a local shop had room to store her and slap her around every few days (if I can't do it), not to mention fix the seized clutch problem... If I needed access to it I would give plenty of advance, not show up demanding to get my hands on it immediately. OK?

By no means am I wanting to freeload, I will pay for storage gladly. The old wench runs like a top and is a blast to drive, so it's not like you will have to push the thing out of the way to get to another car. After the clutch problem is fixed of course. I would hope if it was started it would at least be driven around the block to keep her happy. <grin>

My reasoning for wanting to have it stored at a local shop that primarily works on Mustangs is eventually I want to lose the 7.5 rearend, convert everything to 5 lug with fat brakes, on and on a bit at a time. In a nutshell it would be very cool to have a shop storing my car that would call me saying "We have a 8.8 here you want it?" or "you want these used ??? that will fit your car?"..

The car is fully insured and tagged FWIW.

Yes, it was fully driveable till the clutch seized up a few weeks ago. But now it is not. I mentioned that in my first post.
