Thats a damn good reason to go with 9" ends.. I had heard about that happening but never seen one come fully out like that myself.. Makes snapping the studs off your axle look like a good day

No kidding right? He better be glad that did it right there instead of @ 330 feet down the track.

9" ends and rear disk brakes.... gotta have something to hold that crap together so you don't get hurt.

U dont need all of that, u just need 5lug swap with Dics...If he had disc brakes that cant happen.

True.. But if I was spending the time to swap axles for a drag car I would be throwing a spool and some 33+ spline gun drilled axles with 9" ends.

But I'm sure the cheaper route is some stock 5 lug axles with Disc brakes..

ive seen that happen a couple times, like funford said, thats why you run c clip eliminators.
