Default Control arm bushings.

My new bushings will be here on Monday hopefully, does anybody know if a special tool is required to remove the old ones and install the new ones?

I heard there is but then I've also heard that you can just drill out the old ones...anyone here done this yet? I'm sick of looking at my car in the driveway.

Ok, just heat them up and they will be easier to work out?

That will work but then you really should press them in.

Joe told me they would be here by Tuesday or Wednesday... now it's Monday.

I guess I'll go out there today and get the arms out...and start getting the old bushings out.

what bushings were you replacing again? And which ones did you get to replace?
most poly bushings are multipiece and come apart easily and go back together easily acutally

Steeda is here in Florida so no clue why they wouldn't be here by now. Chris just come use my lift.

The upper control arm bushings.... got Steeda direct replacements on order.

Shaun... it got really bad on the way home that day so it's not driveable to your shop just yet.

I've done about 1 hour of work out there...now I'm hung up on one freaking bolt...it won't come all of the way out.

This one worries me...I can see the bushing in the diff. mount is cracked too.

Same here..blurry but very noticeable:

Here is the good side..lol

The culprit!!

Still need the other one out... It's stuck as a motherfucker.

True story... 4 peices to be exact.

A sleeve, an inner and 2 outers.

I'm done out there.

Every one was blown out:

Ah... the glory of a job 1/2 done:
