Who said this car was made for autox/road course? It was made to be a beast on the street. Its just being made to handle "well". No one buys a mustang to autox etc. Thats why they have things called project cars such as a FFR

Um, the original shelbys were built for the track and the street cars were also after a fashion? That was the whole point to the orignial GT500s. It was all about racing. I never said Auto-x, Im talking more about track sessions like sebring and other major tracks. The new shelby is just a name, it dosnt follow the orginal designers ideals at all.
I bet its just a name im sure Carrol Shelby just throws his name on whatever. Im sure they built this car for show. NOT! This car was made to be a beast!

Here is an Idea of how it handles. 700ft. Slalom and 200ft Skidpad
Stock Gt500:
.87 g's @ 66.2 mph
Super Snake:
.93g's @ 68.4 mph
c6 z06:
.93g's @ 69.9mph
The supersnake went 12.5 @ 119.9 with a 2.4 60' in the 1/4 spinning on the 600hp setup with 20" wheels.I say if they could knock down the 60' that would be a high 11sec car on the 600hp setup. I could only imagine what the 725 hp one would do with light wheels an dr's.

It's a beautiful car...especially in that first pic. $75K though for mid 12's.... no thanks. My car can do that and I paid 70K less...lol

The z06 isnt cheap the zr1 wont be cheap either. Plus its a brand new shelby cobra they have to jack the shit out of the price.
