Default Having a brake issue in my 99 F2fitty!!!

Alrighty than, yesterday driving around sometimes I noticed the brake pedal almost goes to the floor than sometimes it doesnt, just this morning driving it happend again but this time pretty bad and didnt feel like it was going to stop, quickly started pumping the brakes and got alil more pedal out of it. I looked for any leaking shit and everything seems to be dry...What the fudge is the dealeo?? Ohh and I just had the brakes done about 6 months ago and didnt put THAT many miles on them, maybe 2000 IF that...

Could it be the booster or master??

Its a 99 F250 automatic if that even matters!!!

THANKS

sounds like you might have a master cylinder leak, my honda was doing the same thing - it was an air leak, so there was no fluid leaking, etc. changed the master cylinder and problem was gone.

Sounds like Booster/Master.

If you are at a stop in gear with the brake pedal pressed hard, do you hear air hissing? If so its either the booster or the check valve on the booster (from my experience).

+1 on the master...Same thing happened when I use to have a 300...replaced the master and all was good.
