Default price on custom length axles?

i was converting to LSC brake setup and i fucked up and bought 275\40\17 BFG drag radials and they are going to seriously dig into the fenders. instead of buying 245s i was thinking of ordering axles that are approx. 1/2 inch shorter(which might be stock mustang length) and spacing the calipers back to compensate. on stranges website stock replacement axles are 239 for a pair. are custom length axles more money?

i am fucking retarded

i didnt have too much time to look at it but i 'think' i can move the caliper mounting bracket to the inside of the adapter that bolts to the axle housing - though it may pull the rotor too far in. by the time i got the front converted and set the car down to see how close it was we were closing up so i am just going by memory.

mars - they fenders are rolled, its not close

what rims are you running? S197 rims have a deeper offset, that may help and save you some headache.

saleen speedlines. on my 88 saleen they came with 235/45/17s, i think the 275s are just too wide. i may have to go down to a 245 nitto but i HATE mounting tires on these rims. it peels the clearcoat off which makes me want to strangle someone.

ill take a closer look tommorow to see what i can do.

I have 275 drag radials on my lowered fox with the cobra wheels in my sig. the passenger side hits, the drivers does not. i had to beat the shit out of the wheel well lip to compensate.
