Default Anybody have dyed/painted interior?

We need to dye or paint a dash and was wondering what is the best stuff to use.Anybody done their's?How'd it turn out,what did you use and how'd it hold up?Thanks

SEM vinyl dye. it's all in the prep work. here's a before and after....

^+1 on the prep work. I used 5.0 resto color matched for the year and prepped it with laquer thinner and scuff pad and my dash cam out great. can't really tell its dyed. mine is the 86 canyon red interior.

Thanks,did you guys use the same dye on the vinyl as you did on the plastic pieces?

+1 on the SEM, you can do the vinyl with it, however with a lot of use it will come off since the SEM is a coating and not a true dye

Can I get this SEM stuff locally somewhere, Pinellas style?

Anybody try this stuff? Colorbond - The best choice for automotive or marine plastic vinyl leather restoration and color < molecular bond - wow!

you can get SEM from FinishMaster on 126th just east of 66th street or at CMK trim products off of 46th and 110th. take 49th to 110th go east to the first road and turn south about 3 buildings down on the west side of the road

I know they have two different types. one for vinyl the other for non.

I'm gonna pick up a couple cans of the SEM from Finishmasters on Florida Ave.Monday and see how it comes out,thanks again guys.
