so i got a case of spray paint for the car..got 4 flat black for the inside and 2 gloss for the engine bay.figured that would be enough for the car..well i used almost all my can of flat black on the inside before i stopped so i had like a 1/8th of a can left.


well i got a cowl hood over the weekend and it looked like ass whiteso i figured shit i will just paint it flat black so it dont look as bad..well i prop it up and start painting and its pretty much dark out when i start..well i go threw that can and now its dark..i say well fuck it..i will just finsh..its flat black paint what does it matter plus its going over white so i can see where its going.

i run inside and get another can of flat black,,well i finsh and let it sit and just toss it on the car..i come out today and my hood is flat black where i started and gloss black the rest..and no i didn't grab the wrong can..seems some one in the store thought it would be funny to switch caps around..so i now have 5 cans of gloss black..damn b.s



guess i will just keep the interior shit and paint it black now seeing i have so much

yep...good thing though is i see where most the spots i need to fix are on the hood..lots of little shit poped out seeing its black now..lol

nope went all wrong in walmart before i even had a clue.teachs me not to take shit for granted..i will now open every can and spray it inside the store to make sure its right from now on..

Humidity does that to flat black. I know it's rough these days but next time try painting on a really hot day and sand in between coats with a red or white Scotchbrite pad.

Trust me, I know all about flat paint...lol!

i only tossed 1 coat on..i sanded the hood down with a 3m pad..and its all flat black now..lol
