Default Rocker Ratio's

I am looking into buying some roller rockers for my '90 Mark VII, and am trying to figure out what my stock solid rocker ratio is. It is a 5.0HO. Can anyone help? Also, what would be an ideal ratio for roller rockers? The motor is stock except for the "E" FoMoSpo cam and trick flow springs.

If I'm not mistaken, the stock ratio is 1.6.
1.7 Roller Rockers would be a nice addition to get a bit of added lift, as long as all the clearances are fine.

Yup. The Crane Cobra 1.7s add a little more lift, there is also the FRPP 1.72s

im pretty sure 1.6 is stock. !.7 or 1.72 will defiantly add a little more lift but it also shortens the life of your valve train. Your valve guides will mostly wear out faster due to the faster valve speed.

i ran a 1.72 rocker with the B303 cam with great results for a few years in the ol' maverick. good luck

What about 1.7s with an F cam? Any issues with that setup?

1.7 crane rockers are too noisy, get a nicer brand.

i would definatly mock that up with some clay. I think that might be a problem. You also have gt-40 heads and if they have been milled at all you will most likely have some issues. i got some play-doh at the shop if you wanna come play

They're ported e7 heads milled to 10:1 compression...

Either way that's down the road. I got a 240 that the auto just blew up in. Time for a 5 spd swap.
