"stock" 5.0 rev limit

"stock" 5.0 rev limit
I have a 1970 302 block, stock cam, minor add ons. The MSD6A box don't have a rev limiter, so I'm curious to what the " red line" is for a motor like this. All I can find is the EFI limits

I would keep it away from anything over 5,000 rpm's. The stock heads, intake and cam probably aren't making any power after that anyways.

Mild port/gasket match on the stock E3 intake and the heads
4160 Holley
Mac 1 5/8" headers
Just curious to the " rev limit" of this motor

I dont think 83 heads and intake are really that good of a combo to being with.I really see 5k being where it falls flat

Lets worry about valvetrain.6k max if its stock

As of now it's bone stock. GT40 Exploder heads going on soon, hopefully crane roller rockers to match. Haven't decided on intake yet, but will be fed by a custom Holley 650 DP

Like chris said,around 6k.Valve float and valve spring age will start to show.Fuck im madtyte,,,,,,,,,,,awwwww fuckit.
