Question Rear quarter panel question. ( more room for rubbing slicks ).

Anyone here ever cut the inner lip ( on the outside edge ) off of their rear quarter panels ? I have rolled mine out with a hub mounted roller but my slicks ( not the DR's ) rub the top edge ( on the outside ) of the quarter panel. Some might remember I destroyed a brand new slick because of this rub.

Any other tricks here ? I am thinking if I cut that off it will give me some more clearance and make the metal easier to roll again.

mine rubbed also on uneven pavement,, had dave at nbs cut mine, now there's about a 1/8" lip and no more rubbing.. i was gonna have them rolled, but i 've seen where that leaves dimples on the outside..

I've cut the lip just about completely off before. usually there isn't a need for it with a 26x10 with the proper back space.
