Default Someone describe to me signs of bad struts

As in worn struts. Or broken. My buddy seems to think that the ones on my car are shot. At times it feels like the car is floating when driving, which he attributes to them being worn. Shoot away. Or flame if must.

Floaty sometimes can be alignment. If it is shitty over bumps it may be struts.

Yep that about sums it up. In the corners it feels like it turns on it's own.

Not yet. Been fighting with the dealer to alleviate the loud rattle in the front before I go through with it.

Most all struts have a foam insert on the bottom and top of the coil spring. When they wear they cause popping etc...The get weathered.Eventually the metal coil spring is rubbing metal to metal
