do any of you run ele water pumps on the street (on V8's)


any problems with them???????????????

Also, I meant the 300 series are pricey, the 100 series arent bad, but the CSR pumps IMO, look better, only 4 bolts to remove the pump from the backing plate.

Is the performance gains worth the money spent for a street car? Will it work? Yes, IMO money could be better spent somewhere else to increase HP

You will have the same cooling effieciency with an electric as with a belt driven. The biggest advantage and IMO the main reason to get one is the ability to run the pump with the motor off on ACC, otherwise unless you are at the point where you are looking for that last 5hp or so maybe save the money and use it towards something else. You might have to take a look at your electrical system as well to make sure you can support the pump. If your system is weak make sure you get that straight before hand.
