Dohc 4.6 Swap Into 95 T-bird

Default Dohc 4.6 Swap Into 95 T-bird

Ok so me and a friend have been doin a DOHC 4.6 SWAP (Mark in his 95 T-Bird. Well for some reason the car wont start and we found out we arent getting ANY spark. It has coil packs not coil on-plug. We replaced plugs, Cam-Crank sensors, and checked all grounds. Can you guys give us some advice???

We need this beast running!!!!

is it getting an injector pulse as well?

+1 for the PATS being the cause. You will have to disable it. Best way is using an aftermarket chip.

P.A.T.S = (Passive Anti Theft System) Just having a chip will not shut it off. The chip has to be programmed to shut it off.

It doesnt have a Anti-Theft System. Only thing related to that is it has a keyless entry.....

What wiring are you using? I know, no signal from the crank trigger sensor will kill the spark. IIRC PATS only kills the fuel pump.

I guess its the same one, The forum hes on, every1 said he could use his old one.

ok nice. That sounds like the issue right their. Hack jobs with factory harness are such a bad idea and almost never work. Don't 95Tbirds have have a 5.0 motor or a v6?
