pulling out my dashboard in 97 cobra...
are there any good write ups on how to do this? i dont want to take something apart that i dont need to.

call billy he does ac mobile tell him what is going on and how much would he charge just to pull the dash and put back. he is a really good guy put new ac in our car! stand up guy tell him charlie with the stang told ya to call he will hook you up!

god damn you are alot of help! lol. I cant thank you enough. I found the motor thats not working. its the vcm right behind the radio. im gonna order another one from ford and get that sum bitch fixed. it sucks without a/c in florida!! lol

You have to pull the center console, disconnect the wiring harnesses behind both kick panels (In front of the doors near the fool.), and drop the steering column. The dash is held in by about 9 bolts. Their is a few under defrost vent for the windshield. One on each side behind the kick planels and the other ones are at the tranny tunnel. Once the bolts are out. It comes out easy. Makes sure you disconnect all the climate control stuff. You have to pull the radio and their may be another bolt or two in their.
