90 crown vic losing fire
my buddie has a 90 crown vic 5.0 the car starts as soon as you let off the key it looses fire.like there is a switch in the column that is bad or something. it has good fuel pressure 39 tried new coil has new cap rotor wires and plugs.
Check harness and its pins to column mounted switch first --- they loosen and walk out as do mustangs.
Switch is only $20 bucks at Advance ... #S128 probably
Lock cylinder/keys is only $20 also
BTW - Ponies?

ok now I replaced the switch make sure all wires are pushed in to the connecter now it wont start, it has fire it has fuel, put noid light on injecter and the one I checked was firing. I check the compression in 2 cyls 60# so I figure the timing chain jumped pull it down and the marks line up. the chain is super loose. will a motor even run with 60# of compression. was running smooth before no blown head gasket clean oil wtf. car does not smoke, it does have a lot of miles on it. the new plugs were black too much fuel ???
