how hard is it to put a mod motor in a coupe
just wondering how hard it is to put a 03-04 cobramotor and tranny in a fox body coupe and what my stock motor and tranny worth??derek

I have a mod motor cross member if u need one .... Ill sell it for $200 they are like $350 new and its in great shape
also Rob at ford speed has an auto trans they had behind a 4 valve cobra motor that used to be in my car. you would need to get a complete motor with all its sensors and its computer for the swap OR get a motor and go with a stand alone system like a FAST set up.

JDL1000 (Jason). Send him a PM if you got any questions. I put a 98 4V drive train into my 94 v6. Your best bet would be to find a wrecked car. Everything should swap over but youll have to make some custom pieces here and there. Good luck.

Look in the shops sticky at the top of the ford tech forum for where to get your car worked on .. FordSpeed Racing owned my car before me. Im pretty sure they still have the 4valve motor and the trans and the cross member and exhaust from my car....

It's not hard, just very time consuming. And VERY expensive!
